Group planning

Group trips do not fail on taste - they fail on memory. 7 Wanders keeps everyone on the same plan, with a decision log that remembers why.

What it does

  • Planning is collaborative: the people on the trip work from the same living itinerary, not from screenshots of it.
  • A decision log records what changed and why - who swapped the museum, when the dinner moved, what the group decided about the early train.
  • Refinements happen in plain language and land in the shared plan, so "I thought we said Tuesday" has a checkable answer.
  • Everyone sees the same booking status and the same wallet, so the person who books and the person who budgets stop being single points of failure.

Why it matters

The group chat is where trip decisions go to be made four times. Each re-litigation happens because nobody can find what was decided or what it was based on. A plan with a memory converts the argument into a record - the group argues once, and the trip moves on.

The honest boundary

The decision log is a record, not a referee: it will tell you what was decided, not who was right. And group planning shares the plan, not your account - each traveler is themselves. It will not stop your most chaotic friend from proposing a 6 a.m. hike; it will only make sure the rejection is on the record.

Plan the group trip without the fourth argument.
