Real transit research

The single most important thing about 7 Wanders: when your plan includes a flight or a train, it looks the connection up. It does not make one up.

What it does

  • When a plan needs a transit leg, 7 Wanders runs a LIVE search for the actual service - the real train or flight number, the scheduled times, and the typical fare it found.
  • The result lands in your itinerary as a concrete, checkable claim: a named service at a named time, not "take a morning train".
  • Booking status sits next to every leg - booked, still to reserve, and by when - so a researched connection becomes a booked one before it matters.
  • If the search cannot verify a connection, the plan says so rather than papering over the gap with something plausible.

Why it matters

Language models are notorious for inventing train times that sound right, and one hallucinated connection can cost you a night in the wrong city. Everyone who plans seriously has either been burned by a made-up 17:42 departure or knows someone who has. Refusing to invent transit is not a feature bullet for us - it is the reason the product exists, and the blog audits our own error rate in public every month to keep the claim honest.

The honest boundary

Researched is not booked, and schedules move: operators reschedule, fares change, strikes happen. Treat every found connection like any research - verify times and prices with the operator when you book. 7 Wanders does not sell tickets, does not process payment, and does not promise award availability. It gets the research right so your booking click is the easy part.

Plan a trip whose trains actually exist.
